The first 2 weeks of football is behind us, and now the serious NFL wagering can begin. As is to be expected with Week betting, only one winning team failed to cover the NFL point spread. Not any expected Tom Brady to be gone with the wind, but a huge amount of gambling degenerates also god fleeced by San Diego and Indianapolis.
BetUS.com gladly brings you a preview of every, single game this week to get you set up for your NFL betting weekend!

EARLY BIRD GAMES
Kansas City Chiefs (0-2) vs. Atlanta Falcons (1-1)
NFL Betting Line: Atlanta -3.5 (36.5)
I really like the direction the Falcons are heading in under new head coach Mike Smith. The team has a legitimate star in running back Michael Turner and a budding one in quarterback Matt Ryan. While the Falcons could certainly use more talent throughout their roster, the team has gotten their rebuilding plan off very wisely if you ask me. The Chiefs on the other hand, look like the worst team in all of football these days. Not only is the talent extremely thin in Kansas City, but head coach Herman Edwards looks totally clueless lately and starting running back Larry Johnson has visibly quit on the franchise.
While Edwards is a fine defensive coach, his idea of offense is to run the ball on first and second down every time and then throw on third when everyone, including napping infants, knows exactly what he’s going to do.
To make a long story short, take the Falcons to cover the spread at home against a Chiefs team that used three quarterbacks last week and looks like they’re one step away from completely imploding.

Miami Dolphins (0-2) vs. New England Patriots (2-0)
NFL Betting Line: N.E. -11.5 (35.5)
Ok, fine. I was wrong. Everyone was glued to the TV waiting for Matt Cassel to screw up. When that didn’t happen, everyone thought, “Hey! This kid is good!” Really? Throwing 165 passing yards and zero scores is good? Really? Seriously?
It’s not that the Patriots didn’t play astounding, it’s that the Jets played way below their level. They failed to maintain any rhythm on offense because Mangini is still an idiot. This front line can block for the run, so giving Thomas Jones a limited amount of carries with Tony Richardson leading the way is inexcusable. But this isn’t about the Jets. Not today. Now lets see if they can do the same hosting Miami Dolphins.
For their week two game the New England Patriots beat the Jets 19-10 to improve to a 2-0 record. The Patriots 2008 team leaders include; quarterback Matt Cassel completing 29 passes on 41 attempts for 317 yards with one touchdown, running back LaMont Jordan leads in rushing with 13 carries for 68 yards and wide receiver Randy Moss leads in receiving with 8 receptions for 138 yards with one touchdown. The New England Patriots had an amazing 2007 season but could not close the deal with a SB Ring. The Patriots clinched the AFC East conference gaining homefield advantage with a perfect 16-0 regular season record.
