Week 15 Preview, Predictions and Recap
Washington Redskins at New York Giants
The New York Giants are currently ranked first in the NFC East with a 7-6 record. The Giants broke their four game losing streak last week in Dallas during one of the best games of the season. With their win versus the Cowboys, the Giants reclaimed the divisional lead and proved the world that they are still a capable squad.
Eli Manning came up clutch for the Giants late in the game and the defense once again made key plays late in the fourth quarters. Although the Giants are in the playoffs as of this point, they will play pivotal divisional games against the Redskins and Cowboys.
If the Giants want to make it back to the post-season, they will need a complete performance on Sunday to beat the Redskins.
New England Patriots at Denver Broncos
The New England Patriots, led by Tom Brady, will be taking their talents to the Mile High City in an epic match-up against the Broncos. Brady is a consummate professional and he always has his team ready for key games. The Patriots currently stand at the top of the AFC East with a 10-3 record with a 5-2 mark on the road.
The Pats are on a five game winning streak and they hope to continue their ways on Week 15 against Tim Tebow and the Broncos.
As for the up-start Denver Broncos, they are on a six game winning streak and star quarterback Tim Tebow is 7-1 as a starter. Tebow has received a lot of criticism during his tenure as the passer, but he just finds ways to win games. This week’s game will be Tebow’s biggest test yet, but if the score is close in the fourth quarter, expect to see Tebow succeed.
The Broncos have the divisional lead in the AFC West and their 8-5 record is quite impressive considering the way they started the season.
New York Jets at Philadelphia Eagles
The New York Jets will be traveling to the City of Brotherly Love for their Week 15 game and hope to give the struggling Eagles another loss. The Jets currently stand at 8-5 and are riding an impressive three game winning streak. However, the Jets have not performed well on the road, as they are only 2-4.
However, the Eagles are not much better and have been one of the biggest disappointments this season. Instead of looking to win the Super Bowl, the Eagles will likely watch post-season games from home. They have a 5-8 record and have only won one game at home.
At this point, it seems as though the Jets will carry their momentum past the Eagles in Week 15.
