2012 NFL Live Odds and Lines
The Patriots played an amazing game and their other star besides Brady was Aaron Hernandez. Both him and Brady stepped up big and took complete control of the game and hope to do the same to the Ravens.
The Patriots had one of the best performances of the season against the Broncos, despite the extra rest they had due to the bye week. Brady proved to the world that he is an elite quarterback and silenced all his critics and the Tebow lovers. Still, the Ravens are a much better team than the Broncos and will present the Patriots with a plethora of problems.
Baltimore is coming into this game after eliminating the Houston Texans with a 20-13 win. The Ravens once again relied on their defense to win the game and their secondary came up clutch when the contest was on the line.
On top of that, the Ravens have a solid run game anchored by Ray Rice. Although their passing attack is not an upper echelon one, whenever the Ravens need points they can rely on Rice.
This game will feature a high-power offense and a stellar defense. However, Brady has been on a tear this season and look for him to have another spectacular game.
New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers, 6:30 p.m. ET
The New York Giants beat the best team in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers, in their last game and hope to carry their momentum on Sunday. The Giants once again won a playoff game on the road and they dominated the once all mighty Packers.
The Giants shut down the Packers’ offense to only 20 points, and Eli Manning helped his team rack up an amazing 37 points. If Manning wants to be considered as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL he must once again bring the Giants back to the Super Bowl.
However, the Giants’ wide receivers stepped up big for the team and constantly made huge third down plays. Mario Manningham made key catches in big moments, including an incredible Hail Mary to end the first half.
If the Giants want to make it back to the Super Bowl they will need a complete team effort. The defense must repeat its performance and the offense has to continue on its amazing run.
As for the San Francisco 49ers, they had a miracle victory over the New Orleans Hornets 36-32. Alex Smith as redefined himself as a quarterback by leading the 49ers to an amazing season. His pass to Vernon Davis was amazing and under the guidance of Coach Jim Harbaugh, the 49ers have a good chance of winning this game.
The fans will definitely be fired up for this playoff game and the 49ers are fortunate enough to host this title game. Their West Coast offense will present a lot of problems for the Giants and can help them knock of New York. If the 49ers want to continue on their run, they need a dominating performance by Alex Smith and another stellar effort on defense.
