NCAA College Football Weekend Week Three Predictions

College football betting lines continue as we head into week three. There’s some sort of a big contest going on involving two somewhat popular schools this Saturday. Let’s see if we can build on a successful week.

Record: 4-1 (+3.4 Units)

Ohio State Buckeyes @ USC Trojans -450

The Ohio State Buckeyes have talked some smack and their fans have prank called the USC Trojans – the No. 1 in the nation USC Trojans. On top of that, they look like they’ll be heading to The Coliseum without their stud running back, Beanie Wells. They’ll keep it close but I don’t see an upset here.

Michigan Wolverines @ Notre Dame Fighting Irish +110

To be honest, a lot of people seem to think this game is a mismatch. Realistically, it shouldn’t be. Although Michigan appears to have less problems than Notre Dame, who nearly lost to San Diego State at home last week, the truth of the matter is we have yet to see Michigan go on the road under Rich Rodriguez. The Fighting Irish have had this game circled for months so maybe they looked ahead a little bit last week.

Nevada Wolfpack @ Missouri Tigers -5000

This is a big mismatch. The Nevada Wolfpack got some turnovers last week from Texas Tech and still got smoked 35-19 at home. Now they head on the road to face a National Championship contender with a Heisman hopeful at quarterback. Don’t expect Tigers quarterback Chase Daniel to make too many mistakes and don’t expect this game to be close.

Auburn Tigers @ Mississippi State Bulldogs +350

Auburn had been dominating this series until the Bulldogs shocked them last year and maybe there’s a bit of a trend here. This is going to be a mucky defensive battle, which is exactly what the Bulldogs want. The Tigers offense is still a work in progress and with home field advantage in the Bulldogs favor, maybe they just squeak out another upset.
