UCF @ No. 20 Missouri
Without Blake Bortles, Central Florida just isn’t the same. They will start their second quarterback in two weeks Saturday when they take on Missouri. The Tigers have no question at QB with the dynamic Maty Mauk, who has thrown for eight touchdowns in Missouri’s two victories. At Missouri, UCF doesn’t have a chance… Missouri 35, UCF 13.

College Football Week 3 Vegas Lines and OddsNo. 21 Louisville @ Virginia
The Cardinals travel on the road in the ACC for the first time. They will face a feisty Virginia squad that gave No. 12 UCLA all it could handle in the opening week of the season. The Cavaliers fell 28-20 to the Bruins but rebounded with a 45-13 win over Richmond last week. Look for Louisville to score often and quickly… Louisville 47, Virginia 17.

Wyoming @ No. 2 Oregon
Is there really any question? New Wyoming head coach Craig Bohl is trying to build something with the Cowboys. He might do so, but to get there they will have to take some beatings along the way. Saturday will be one of them… Oregon 63, Wyoming 10.

No. 6 Georgia @ No. 24 South Carolina
It is the only game of the day featuring ranked opponents. Georgia won last year at home but has been shellacked the past two times it has played in Columbia. RB Keith Gurley is tough to stop and the Bulldogs look strong. The Gamecocks were blown out by Texas A&M but got a 33-23 win last week over East Carolina. Head coach Steve Spurrier will not go 0-2 in the SEC… South Carolina 27, Georgia 24.

Kansas @ Duke
Is it basketball season already? While the hardwood matchup between these two schools is clearly superior to the gridiron version, this year’s contest features a pair of unbeatens. Duke is simply better and will win at home… Duke 38, Kansas 17.

Southern Miss @ No. 3 Alabama
It’s another primer for the SEC slate for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide. Southern Miss tried something different a week ago and actually won a game. It’s only their second win in their past 24 games. It’s an easy pick. The big question might be will the Golden Eagles score… Alabama 45, Southern Miss 0.

Purdue @ No. 11 Notre Dame
The Irish are hot. After a 31-0 drubbing of long-time rival Michigan last week, head coach Brian Kelly will not let ND endure a let-down. Purdue has given the Irish fits the past two seasons. That won’t happen this year… Notre Dame 38, Purdue 10.

No. 9 USC @ Boston College
If there was an upset waiting to happen, it might be here. The Trojans make the long trip across the country to play in Boston. The USC offense sputtered against a very good Stanford defense last week. BC isn’t that good. Trojans AD Pat Haden won’t be around to get in the officials’ way either… USC 24, Boston College 17.

No. 12 UCLA @ Texas
Things could get ugly for Charlie Strong and Texas. After a 41-7 beatdown at the hands of BYU last week, the Longhorns get to welcome the No. 12 team in the country. The Bruins have as much talent as any team in the country and, possibly, it’s best QB in Brett Hundley. Texas gets Kansas next week and then must face back-to-back Top 10 teams (Oklahoma and Baylor)… UCLA 37, Texas 13.

Tennessee @ No. 4 Oklahoma
Butch Jones is doing an admirable job in trying to right the ship in Knoxville. The Vols are 2-0, but the level of competition is questionable. Going to Norman to face the fourth-ranked Sooners will be a challenge. Oklahoma is averaging 50 points a game and just has too many horses… Oklahoma 48, Tennessee 20.
