Echecks for Sports Betting:
Echecks have become a rage among sports betting experts in recent times. A lot of punters have been using echecks for making fast and easy bets to an online sportsbook. However, online payments are still very risky, and it is important for you to fully understand everything about echecks before you make your bet payments using this highly popular method. First, let’s see what exactly an echeck is all about.

The Nuts and Bolts of Online Sports Betting

In all but a handful of states in the US, owning a sports book is illegal, and has been since a Federal law was passed back in 1992. States that already have legalized gambling laws on the books (which were very few in numbers) were allowed the right to continue running and operating gambling facilities, but in the rest of the US, the practice was banned.
The only way to partake in these activities was to get involved with some less-than-savory characters that hearken us back to old mobster movies.
But thankfully, this is no longer the case for citizens of the US who wish to participate in sports betting. With the introduction of online sports betting, Americans were once again, legally, able to bet on their favorite sports. The reason these online sports betting sites are legal is because they are owned and operated offshore – meaning, outside the United States.

This allows them to bypass anti-gambling laws, without having to resort to illegal tactics, and allows Americans a legal avenue with which to bet on sports.
Sports Betting Itself is Not Illegal
The US code of laws clearly dictates that the owning and operation of a sports book or sports betting shop within the US is illegal. However, nowhere in the statute, or anywhere else in the law for that matter, does it say, or even imply, that betting on sports is illegal.
This might sound a bit counter intuitive – though, laws often are – but the basic “gist” of it is that it is illegal to own a sports betting venture, but not illegal to place bets on sports books that are held offshore.
Sports Interaction will refund losing bets when Derek Jeter makes history
KAHNAWAKE, JULY 5TH. Derek Jeter is sliding home on his way to 3,000 career hits over 16 years in pinstripes and Sports Interaction isn’t letting the moment pass without an appropriate commemoration.
When Jeter hits 3,000, at home against the Indians, at Tampa Bay or Toronto or where-ever, Sports Interaction will refund all losing inning bets placed live during the historic game.
“We feel it’s something worth celebrating,” says Frank Doyle, a spokesman for Sports Interaction, “and it’s a good reminder of what a great live betting game baseball is.
“Live betting is more and more popular with Sports Interaction bettors and we don’t want anyone to be disappointed when baseball history happens. So if you’ve an inning bet that loses when Jeter hits 3,000, we’re gonna make like it never happened. Who rains on a parade?”
Derek Jeter’s first ever career hit was in the Kingdome, on May 30th, 1995, when the Yankees lost 7-3 after getting blown away by Seattle in the eighth, and he hasn’t looked back. Five World Championships, twelve All-Star nominations, five Gold Gloves and Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year in 2009 already, and now Jeter is on the verge of becoming the first Yankee to join Rose, Cobb, Aaron, Musial, May and the rest in the 3,000 club.
“We’re seeing something that’s one of those where-were-you-when moments in baseball,” says Doyle. “We don’t mind giving a little back when someone’s making that kind of history.”

What are echecks?
Echecks are nothing but the electronic forms of an ordinary paper check. Thus, you can transfer funds into a sports betting website by writing an echeck in their name and sending it to them. The entire process of money transfer is quite similar to that of a paper check. You would have a tracking number similar to a paper check, to find out the status of the echeck. An echeck also takes some time to clear, allowing you to hold out the money on a bet, before the payment is transferred after a few days.
Why echecks?
Echecks give a lot of advantages to a sports betting fanatic. An echeck allows you to hold on to the payment for a few days in your account before it is transferred, earning you the interest without the hassles of any credit card debt. In addition, you are not liable to any Paypal fees for the transfer of money into the echeck sports betting sites. Sports betting websites can also be in advantage because of the fact that they are guaranteed payment without any risk of scam or fraud.
Echecks for USA sports betting:
With so many benefits in hand, it is no wonder that echecks have become a popular option for punters across the world. However sports betting websites require their customers to put in a certain deposit before the bet so that they can issue instant echecks. Hence, if you are just starting with sports betting online, you would need to send them a deposit through wire transfer and once your account is verified, and your deposit is made, you would be able to make sports bets through echecks.

While echecks are a totally secure method of transferring money, transferring the first deposits may not be so secure in some sports betting websites. When you are looking for the right sports betting website, you need to make sure that you get the right benefits and enough deposit options while opening up a new account.
USA sportsbooks usually ask for some basic information when you are joining them, during which they would verify your bank account. Different sports betting websites will also give you bonuses on the deposits, and you need to find a sports betting website that gives you the right provisions that suit your needs.
Methods of depositing money in a sports betting website are different for each domain, but most of them rely on third party online transfer companies, such as Paypal, sure pay, neteller, and firepay. In order for you to start making bets online through echecks, you need to make deposit payment using these services. Each of them has their own process of payment, time taken for processing and other benefits and disadvantages. It is important for you to understand these pros and cons and choose a sports betting website that offers deposit payments through a third party that you are comfortable with.
Apart from third party online money transfer companies, USA sports betting websites can also offer you to make deposit payments through credit cards or Western Union money transfers. When you do make a deposit payment through credit cards, you need to make sure that they support e-gaming sportsbook transactions.
Once the deposit is made, though, you can make echecks out to the sports betting websites at whatever price you want. In fact, some sports betting websites give you the provision to make echecks with a sum as low as $10.
Thus, you can also visit our echeck frequently asked questions page for a great way to make bets through sports betting websites securely and safely. If you keep some of the above tips and information in mind, you can make the process of sending echecks much easier for you, and reduce the deposit amount you have to pay to the online sportsbook.

By using BetOnline’s NHL odds as an indicator, it doesn’t look as if the Chicago Blackhawks will be winning back-to-back Stanley Cup trophies as they are paying out at +2000. The Vancouver Canucks had the best regular season record, so it’s no surprise that they are the overwhelming +200 favorite to hoist The Cup. The Washington Capitals have zero Stanley Cups in their 36 year history; however, they have a good shot this year paying out at +550.
