October 10th, 2011 – Divisional Series Games were taken between the American League Texas Rangers and Tampa Bay Rays, in which Rangers ended up winning that series 3 to 1. On the other hand the remaining American League matchup was between Detroit Tigers and NY Yankees, in which the Tigers became victorious in a huge upset. Few years back World Series champions, Texas Rangers will have to pass the hot Tigers.

The National League divisional games have been as exciting as the ones from the American League. The St. Louis Cardinals faced off with Philadelphia Phillies, who also were favored by the online sportsbooks and Vegas sportsbooks. The winners will face off in the World Series 2011 Game 1 on Wednesday, October 19th, playing either at the Cardinals or the Brewers ball park. Game 2 will take place on Thursday, October 20th, being played either again at the Cardinals or Brewers ball park. The game 3 will be played on Sunday, October 22nd, played at Tigers or Rangers Ball Park.
