The New York Giants will be the team to watch in the NFC East division, who is recovering from a not so bad season, but not their best. The Giants acquired Antron Rolle from the Arizona Cardinals to add pressure to receivers this year in the secondary. In order for the New York Giants to make a run for Superbowl 45 quarterback Eli Manning will have to have a flawless season and pick apart opponent’s defenses.
Meanwhile in Dallas, the Dallas Cowboys is the team that really wants to add another Vince Lombardi trophy to the franchise. Jerry Jones is determined to win and is adding more targets for Pro Bowler Tony Romo to complete passes to. With rookie Dez Bryant on the field along with Roy Williams, Miles Austin, Patrick Crayton and Jason Witten running deep routes the Cowboys will be one of league’s unstoppable teams to watch 2010-2011.
Philadelphia is going through its rebuilding since the departures of Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook to conference rival, the Washington Redskins. The quarterback situation must be decided before the season starts between Michael Vick and Kevin Kolb while the running back position have been filled by veterans, Mike Bell and LeSean McCoy.
Depending whether future Hall of Famer, Bret Favre returns to Minnesota for another shot at another Superbowl run will determine who the predicted NFC North division leader will be. The Minnesota Viking without Bret Favre will put the Vikings in second place in the division. Tarvaris Jackson is no Bret Favre and cannot lead the Vikings to a repeat from last season as conference leader. The team that can shock the entire NFC conference is, the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rogers is growing into a top rated quarterback and is looking forward to making his mark in Green Bay also. The Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears have a lot of rebuilding to do this year and next off-season before being considered a factor in the NFC North.
The NFC South Division, whose Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints led by Drew Brees is looking for a repeat from last year’s Super Bowl victory over the Indianapolis Colts to bring another trophy to New Orleans. While the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will need much improvement to advance past the Saints in the NFC South Division.
